Drew Maples

Drew Maples is a third-year student at the University of Michigan majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience with minors in Native American Studies and Community Action & Social Change. He supports research at the University of Michigan School of Social Work examining substance misuse, interpersonal violence, and justice involvement among Alaska Native and American Indian communities. A proud citizen of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians, Drew is passionate about advancing Native American health and expanding access to culturally responsive mental health care in underserved communities.
